I’ve enjoyed 27 years of wide-ranging financial experience. My 23 years of auditing experience includes 10 years with Big Four firm Deloitte.

On behalf of Deloitte, I audited the operations of dozens of U.S. businesses, including some that have subsidiaries abroad. Among them:

  • Ames True Temper
  • Office Depot
  • Estee Lauder
  • Darden Restaurants
  • Vornado Realty Trust

I was the Director of Internal Audit at the United Nations Federal Credit Union, an internal auditor at Lockheed, and held a finance position at Trane HVAC.

Over the years, my auditing work has prepared me for just about anything; it’s taken me to a wide range of work settings in the U.S. and abroad.

I’ve analyzed the finances of residential and commercial properties of all types. I have served many not-for-profit organizations. I’ve also navigated many unusual and interesting business settings, such as underground coal mines, and the 40-degrees-below-zero freezing rooms of a company that sold frozen seafood. I’ve visited precious metals fabricating companies, steel foundries, scrap metal yards, and refining and smelting operations.

While I enjoy serving clients in many industries, I’ve developed a particular appreciation for the challenges of achieving success and especially of holding the line on workers' compensation costs in the construction, manufacturing, and distribution sectors.

Applying expertise to small and mid-sized businesses

Over the course of more than two decades, I’ve developed increasing expertise in:

  • Internal audit

Working with all types of businesses and helping them improve profitability for more than two decades, I saw that there are cost saving opportunities with which most business owners aren't familiar.

So I decided to use the knowledge I’d accumulated over 27 years to make a real impact on businesses’ bottom lines. I developed a business that would enable business owners to see quick, tangible results, while also providing ongoing auditing and cost-
optimization strategies to keep costs under control.

I like to think of what I’m doing now as bringing big-company experience to small and mid-size businesses.
